Terms of Service

Keep in mind that these terms are for every possible kind of scenario, depending on what I might be offering at the time, some terms may not apply! Check the Commissions tab at Ko-Fi for the related TOS to those.

Last updated: April 6, 2024
-Removed a contact method for being deemed unnecessary.
-Further detailed some terms.
-Moved the Process detail at the top.
-Added Surprise me! commission terms.
-Added a numerical order to each term, to make it easier to refer to.

Surprise me! Commission Terms

-1.0.- My Surprise Me! commissions work a bit different to how other artists do them:
-1.1.- You'll only be contacted at the start and end of a commission; at the start to verify the contact is correct, and at the end to send you the finalized piece. (that's where the "Surprise me!" comes from!)
-1.2.- There's no revisions or refunds offered to this type of commission when it's finished (otherwise, check the term 2.2!)
-1.3.- The payment process works similar to other types of commissions: paying more doesn't increase the "quality/content" of a piece.
-1.4.- Depending on the type of commission, you'll have to be as descriptive as you can, or provide at least an image to redraw (if it's a pet redraw)

Process

0.1.- Once your payment goes through and the contact information (Ko-Fi or Discord Username) has been provided, you'll receive a direct message through Ko-Fi, or a friend request from @AnubiArts in Discord (depending on the provided contact info) to confirm if the contact is correct. (Discord only, this confirmation isn't required for Ko-Fi)0.2.- Once you confirm that and everything is checked/I finished past orders in the queue, I'll start working on your order. You'll be let known that I started working on your commission, and will also be sent updates to check that your commission is going as expected. You'll be able to request a revision in this step, with the first 3 revisions being free of charge, but subsequent ones costing $2 USD (or 2 coffees in Ko-Fi) per revision. Most of this step is avoided in Surprise me! commissions.0.3.- Once I finish working on your commission, you'll have it sent your way in both the original resolution and an upscaled one.0.4.- And done!

General Terms

1.1.- I reserve the right to refuse working on any commission for any reason. (Generally it shouldn't happen.)1.2.- Commissions are first come, first served. If someone else already commissioned me before you, I'll get to you once I finish their order. You can check the queue status in here (Click to check it out!). Generally each commission should take between less than 1 week and 1 month, depending on the type of commission, though if something gets on the way, you'll be notified through the provided contact method.1.3.- If image(s) aren't provided when requesting an order, please explain with detail everything that you want from your commissioned order. (This doesn't apply to pet redraws, in those cases, you MUST provide an image.)1.4.- I reserve the right to use the commissioned art for things like building my Portfolio, and/or promoting commissions/being commissions examples.1.5.- I can only do things in my own art-style, please don't request me to mimic another art-style.1.6.- A watermark will be placed in the mascot redraws. It should be in the border, not blocking the art itself, but you can't remove it.1.7.- You'll be sent updates regarding your commission to check that everything with your commission is going as expected, but you're prohibited from sharing these through social media (or claiming them as your own). (This term doesn't apply to Surprise me! commissions, as you won't be sent updates there.)1.8.- I won't make art for NFTs, Blockchains and/or training AI Databases.

Payments & Refunds

2.1.- You'll need to pay the entire price of the selected commission (and its addons, if there's any!) in advance for me to work in your order. Generally Ko-Fi should handle this, but it's still important to keep in mind!2.2- Adding to the term above, if I haven't worked on your commission yet, but I refuse to work on it for any reason, you'll be refunded. If I have worked on it, there will be no refunds (Unless it's in the specific case where I feel like I'm uncapable to continue with your piece due to issues from my side, like my art skills, in which case you'll be refunded!)2.3.- Currently, commissions are only accepted through Ko-Fi with PayPal.

Contact & Communication

3.1.- Please don't contact me for commissions outside of Ko-Fi and/or Discord! Due to scammers/bots, those three are where I'll only check for commission orders.3.2.- Once you pay for the commission, you'll be asked to choose either Ko-Fi, or provide a Discord username that I can Direct Message/send a Friend Request to. This is required to send the progress updates and/or finalized piece, along with other important updates regarding the status of your commission/position in queue. If it isn't provided and/or I can't contact you through the provided method for a week (due to you not checking your DMs/Friend Requests), your order will be cancelled.3.3.- Once I start working on your commission, if I don't receive replies to the updates I send, I won't be able to continue working in your order, and if it happens for an entire week, your order will be cancelled, and, depending on the term 2.2 at Payments & Refunds, you may be refunded or not. This is to avoid client ghosting. The updates don't apply to "Surprise me!" commissions.

Deadlines & Delivery

4.1.- Keep in mind that I don't take rush orders nor deadlines for my commissions. I'll get to and finish your order once I'm able to. If you keep insisting on having your order rushed after being told that isn't possible, your order will be cancelled, and, depending on the term 2.2 at Payments & Refunds, you will be refunded or not.4.2.- Due to past experiences, contact email won't be provided at the moment of starting at order. Once I finish your commission order, though, you can request me to send the finalized art at your chosen email, if you'd like to have the finalized art without quality loss unlike places like Discord.4.3.- I use my social medias as my main way to get commissions, and as such I need to upload things consistently to not "die" to the algorithm. Due to that, I'm allowed to work in other kind of art between commission orders to share them at social media.

Usage of commissioned art

5.1.- As of the current T.O.S., the art I make through commissions is for personal use only, you can't sell, make merch, nor use it for NFTs/Blockchains/for training AI Databases.5.2.- The commissioned piece is provided to you as your own personal art, so if you want to share it with others across social media, use it as a Profile Picture/Banner/Wallpaper, or gift it to someone else, you're free to do so. Credit is not required, though it's highly appreciated.5.3.- If it isn't being used as merch, you can use your commissioned art for streaming and video sites (Twitch, Facebook, YouTube)

Revisions

6.1.- You'll be given 3 revisions for free, once those 3 revisions are used, you'll need to pay $2 USD for each subsequent one. This doesn't apply to "Surprise me!" commissions.

Silly Animals Project

Status: ActiveStarted in mid to late 2022 as A Pixel A Day, then later rebranded as S.A.P., Silly Animals Project is a series where I re-adapt sily animal pictures into pixel art form.

Anubi+

Status: Just started! With the state of my Twitter account, it's gotten a lot of popularity due to the pixelated redraws, but due to that, I always felt discouraged to try out new and unique mediums without being restricted by what I became known for... That's where Anubi+ (or also @AnubiArtsPlus) comes in. If you want more varied art content from me at Twitter, this is where you should look at!

Meowvember

Status: On holdMeowvember was a monthly challenge set in November, where you had 30 days to make 15 prompts (1 prompt per 2 days) based around cats.Currently it's on hold, and there aren't plans to bring it back this year yet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Art Usage

Can I use your redraws for personal use? (Profile Pictures, Banners)If it isn't a commission I made for someone else that you found, sure thing! Just make sure to credit me for it wherever you end up using them. Can I repost your pieces?Unless it's a commission I made for you, I'd prefer if you didn't do that, I have multiple social medias basically everywhere for that kind of stuff. Can I adapt your redraws to physical mediums such as cross-stitching?Sure! BUT don't make these with the plans of selling them. (Also, please tag me when you share it, I'd love to check it out!)Can I make NFTs/AI projects based in your art?:) no.Can I use your art as a reference for my own pieces? As long as it isn't an 1:1 copy-paste, yeah.

Art Related

What inspired your art-style?It's a mix between Kairosoft games and art from preschoolar shows. I'm trying to go towards the latter lately! When will you make more music?I try to make new songs every so often, but it's very hard to come up with new melodies, not to mention that most of the time my focus is on making new pixel arts. While I can't give an exact answer, just know that I keep trying! When will you make more low poly models? The latter half of the last question covers it.

Other

What's your age? Where do you live in Argentina? What's your IP?I don't really like to give these kind of details to people I don't know. I'll just answer the first question with: Yes, I am an adult.
